Sugar Rush was initially started by Hayley who has a love for all things creative and decorative.
Starting out with just a sweet cart 5 years ago, she has taken the business to a whole new level of decorative and party planning, when seeing a gap in the market. Keeping her eye on the ball in the decorative world, and incorporating all the latest trends and skills to keep this party going!
Having added a few family members and long term bestie to the company, the team is strong and passionate about all the services they provide and get excited with all the creative projects we find ourselves being requested to provide. We love hearing all your ideas and love even more turning them in to a reality. Whether in your head, your vision or on a pinterest board we want to hear all about them and work with you on building that vision and creating something amazing and usually beautiful.

We love Backdrops, they really set the scene for many events. They are an essential decoration which creates a visual for that perfect snapshot or selfie. They also hide a multitued of sins, visually.
Choose from a flower wall, foliage wall, Glam Sequin wall or Balloon Wall backdrop. We have many options to suit your style and event whether it be bespoke or from something we have premade. Whatever your theme, Glam, pretty or boho we can style it all.
2020 decor trends are the Glam sequin wall, these set the tone for a really glamourous feel and really make your event stand out. We have Glam walls available in many colours and can dress up even more with some organic balloons.
Balloon Garlands, Arches and Balloon Walls.
We create beautiful balloons in an organic style to suit the new trends of today. No more old fashioned styled displays, working with a variety of sizes, colours and custom requests. Balloon displays take time to perfect and we take a lot of pride in each and every one we create.
Perfect for all occasions and bang on trend we can make you a balloonwall, or we can create the perfect backdrop using our moongate, frames and giant numbers or letters to give that WOW factor and really impress your guests, everyone loves a good backdrop for those important selfies.
Balloon garlands make an impression, the bigger the better!! They can be placed over our walls or displayed behind our giant letters or numbers. Balloon garlands are by quotation only and area of where the garland is going to be placed may require assessment.

Giant numbers/letter hire
These are a very popular backdrop option as you can see in our portfolio we have created many different displays with different numbers/lettering.
We offer both floral, chrome or light up giant letters and numbers. We can create something amazing by using mixed medias to incorporate your vision or styling requirements. They really are a simple backdrop but can create something beautiful. Just take a look through our gallery/portfolio.

Sugar Rush Event Hire Terms and Conditions
Our products and services are not booked until a deposit has been received or unless we have verbal or digital agreement with the client via email, or digital communication.
• To confirm the hire of your decoration items we require a nonrefundable 25% deposit on all items.
- Installations may require a site visit and then any communication between SugarRush Event Hire and client is considered a contract whether verbal or via emails, or other methods of digital communication. Once we have visited your site and you have confirmed our services, we will start work on your design unless otherwise instructed by the client we are then bound by contract whether verbal, email or other methods of digital communication. Any cancellations are not permitted once work has been started or completed and therefore the client will be invoiced for both materials and labour incurred for your installation.
- For Hire bookings the final balance is due 10 weeks before your event unless agreed otherwise.
- Hire Period
Hire charges are calculated based on ‘one day’ events, beginning at 7am on the day of the event and ending at 7am on the day following the event. Extra time may be arranged but will be added to your invoice or deducted from your security deposit where appropriate. Should you wish for a longer hire period please get in touch to discuss extended rates.
All items supplied to you on a hire basis remain the sole property of Sugar Rush Event Hire 47 Enfield Road Poole Dorset BH15 3LJ. During the hire period (see 2) all hire items are the responsibility of the hirer (you) and not the responsibility of your venue or event planner. We ask that you communicate with your venue to ensure the security of all hire items in your absence. Sugar Rush Event Hire provides all items for hire in good working order and these items must be returned in the same condition that which they were supplied.
- Public Liability Insurance
We are fully insured up to £5 million public liability and also food safety certified and registered with the local council. We can provide a copy of our insurance policy certificate to you or your venue, please email us for more information on why you might need this.
- Silk Flower Walls / LOVE Letters
The hire price of our silk flower walls and Light up LOVE letters includes full set up and breakdown. Due to the structure of our flower walls we respectfully ask that they are not moved or taken down by anybody other than an employee of Sugar Rush Event Hire to avoid damage. We pride ourselves on providing luxury products, therefore any silk flowers missing from the wall or any other arrangements will be treated as a loss/theft and will be deducted from the damage deposit (see 8). All 4ft Light up LOVE Letters are fully PAT Tested, a copy of the certificate for your venue can be obtained should they wish. Set up of each flower wall requires the same amount of area as the wall directly in front of it to enable smooth set up. If this is not possible please notify us beforehand so we may be able to make changes to our set up. If the area where the flower wall is going to be displayed is not measured, we cannot guarantee that we have time to make any changes to the size of the wall without charging to do so.
In the event of a cancellation your deposit is non-refundable and will therefore be retained. Should you need to change the date of your event we will endeavour to provide the items you require for your new date, however we cannot be held responsible if the new date is not available and the deposit is retained. We recommend that you purchase wedding/event insurance to cover any losses in the event of cancellation.
- Delivery/Collection/ Set up and take downs require a minimum fee of £25, as the cost of hire is purely the cost of hire only .
- Delivery and collection is not always included in our hire charges. ( Please see below)

- Security/Damages Deposit
All bookings are subject to a damages deposit up to the value of 30% of the total bill which is due one week before the date of your event. This will be refunded in full within 5 working days after your event minus any charges for damage, vandalism, missing items, and/or additional hire time other than that which has been previously agreed. If the amount exceeds the value of the damages deposit a supplementary invoice will be issued for immediate payment. Should you wish to receive a full breakdown of replacement charges before you make your booking please contact us.
Sugar Rush Event Hire reserves the right to use any photography of our products and services taken during the hire period. Any photography will be used for promotional purposes on our website and/or social media. If you have any objections to this please let us know in writing prior to your event.
